Taipei Artist Village and Treasure Hill Artist Village, supervised by Taipei City Government, are spaces where artists can reside and express their creativity. Through its artist-in-residence program, the villages allow artists from both Taiwan and abroad to interact with the local community, integrating the special character of Taipei City and serving as a bridge between different cultures, fulfilling the social responsibilities of art. Australian artist and ‘90 days in Taipei’ blogger, Cath Brophy, is currently undertaking a residency program at the Taipei Artist Village.
On the weekend of 10-11 August, the Taipei Artist Village and Treasure Hill Artist Village will hold the 2013 Summer Open Studio.
