Australian artist Dr Ella Whateley undertook an artist-in-residence program at the National Taiwan University of Arts, supported by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education. We were very pleased that the Australian Office hosted an exhibition of Dr Whateley’s works created during the residency.
The exhibition, “Living Water”, featured a selection of contemporary ink paintings, blending elements of Australian and Taiwanese artistic traditions. Below is a brief interview with Dr Whateley about her artwork, the exhibition and her experiences during her residency in Taiwan.
