Australian Representative in Taiwan Cathy Raper met with Ms Vera Hsu, Taiwanese winner of the Ultimate Gap Year Competition, to bid her farewell before she embarks on a once-in-a-lifetime year-long trip to Australia.
Ms Hsu, from Taoyuan, is one of the winners of a worldwide competition to select five Queensland International Student Ambassadors. The Student Ambassador search have a chance to participate in a fully-funded 12-month gap year experience. As part of this program, Ms Hsu will live, work, study and travel in Queensland for twelve months. The competition was an initiative of Trade and Investment Queensland.
